Welcome to my world.

I’m a wife; Mom to a darling Son-in-law, Daughter, and Son; Grammie to an adorable Grandson, Granddaughter and Granddoggie named Maggie; a daughter, sister, and have many friends that I call family.

I am a native Californian who moved to New Mexico with my husband five years ago. I love to travel and many of my paintings have been inspired by trips around the globe. Most of my paintings start with a vibrant and colorful under painting as I try to infuse a happy and energetic vibe into every painting.

My earliest memory of making art was loving a new box of crayons and coloring an elephant purple. I grew up loving to create things: hooking neon-colored rugs, macramé, beading, quilting, embroidery, cross-stitch, and photography. Later in life, I followed my maternal Grandmother’s and paternal Aunt’s footsteps and became passionate about painting. I have a long line of creative people in my family and they are all a big part of my WHY I love to create.

After my retirement from teaching Junior High Physical Education in Southern California (where I was born and raised), my husband and I moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is here that I found an amazing art community and fell in love with this enchanting city’s beautiful sunrises, sunsets, clouds, mountains, and deserts.
